Basic Verbs

This is an absolute beginner (A0) worksheet about basic verbs. Students will learn and practice verbs such as “read”, “like”, “make”, and “eat.” They will also practice asking each other basic questions using the verbs they have learned. Next they will learn the names of common foods and practice asking each other “do you like….?” questions about the food. Finally, they will listen to an audio and complete some sentences based on  what they hear. There is also an optional game if charades at the end of this worksheet.

This worksheet will be great for a true beginner class, and will help introduce them not only to some of the core verbs in English, but the core structures too.
