About us
As experienced ESL teachers, we realize how much time can be wasted looking for good teaching material online. Also, as great as workbooks are, we found them to be expensive and limiting in terms of current topics. That’s why we decided to create Quick and Easy English.
Our goal is to provide ESL teachers with an affordable and convenient solution for ESL lesson planning. Giving you more time for yourself and more energy for your students. Our website has been specifically designed to have easy navigation and our lesson plans are engaging and interesting, because we think learning and teaching English should be fun.

Tobin & Kay
Tobin
I was born and raised in Australia, and originally studied and worked in the film industry before a fateful backpacking trip. I travelled through Asia for a year and at the end of it I realised I just didn’t want to go home. I took a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) course and started teaching kids. I was immediately surprised by how much I liked it. To be honest I’d never really thought of myself as a teacher before, or someone who was good with kids, but it seemed to come naturally, and the better I got at it the more I enjoyed it. Having a class full of kids laughing and learning is one of the best feelings you can have.
Eventually, I moved from Vietnam to Germany and also made the switch from teaching children to teaching adults. This is where I really hit my stride. I did a CELTA (Certificate in English Teaching to Adults) and started teaching adult learners, often with a focus on Business English.
One of my favourite things about teaching Business English is that generally as you teach your students English, they teach you about their industry, and I’m always fascinated to learn the inner workings of a new industry.
Now I live and teach in Hamburg, Germany, and make ESL teaching materials with my business partner Kay for this website, which I’m very proud of. I enjoy finding creative ways to make ESL worksheets fun and fresh, and am always on the hunt for new ideas for teaching materials!

Kay
Born in Canada and raised in Malta with a parent from each, I’ve been part of the ESL world since my teenage years. It all started with summer jobs as a group leader, and later, I transitioned into teaching. My focus was on helping students visiting Malta enhance their English skills during their summer vacation.
After studying in the UK and enjoying a gap year in Australia, I ended up in France, reigniting my passion for teaching. Motivated to advance my skills, I successfully completed my CELTA course, followed by further specialized training. Currently, my work focuses on business English and intercultural communication.
Speaking English, Maltese, French, German, and a little Spanish, I understand the challenges and joys of language learning. Learning a language, to me, is like gaining a superpower – opening doors to new cultures, friendships, and experiences.
Now based in Hamburg, Germany, alongside my business partner Tobin, we continue our journey as ESL trainers, channeling our passion into Quick and Easy English. Our mission is to make language learning a more enjoyable experience for both teachers and students.
