Basic Adjectives and Opposites

This is an A0 level worksheet about basic adjectives and opposites which contains speaking, reading, and listening elements. This worksheet is a great way to introduce beginner  students to some of the most essential adjectives such as “happy”, “young”, “difficult” etc. Students will start by matching pictures to some adjectives. Next they will have to match the adjectives they learned in the first exercise to their opposites. Then they will read some basic sentences that use the words they have learned and select which sentence fits best. Then they will ask each other some basic questions using the vocabulary they have learned such as “Is your bedroom clean or dirty?” Finally the students will listen to an audio with sentences using a lot of the vocabulary they have learned, and complete some sentences by listening to the audio.

This worksheet is for complete beginners, and will be a great way to build and review some of the most important adjectives in English. It will also help with confidence in listening.
