This free A2-B1+ worksheet looks at the subject of sickness, symptoms, and medicine. Students will learn the vocabulary for various symptoms, practice giving advice, listen to 3 different medical appointments, read about different approaches to medicine, and there is an optional homework task to research a medication and present their findings to the class. This worksheet directly deals with health and sickness, but will also be good for any class looking to practice giving advice or any class that needs to practice using words such as “increase” and “decrease” as the section on medicine looks at these terms. The listening section has a conversation with a GP, a pharmacist, and a chiropractor, and each conversation has comprehension questions.
