Get your students using the right phrases to voice their opinion. This worksheet starts off with some natural phrases used in English to agree, disagree, interrupt, and more. The students will then listen to a debate on vegetarianism which uses some of the phrases from the previous exercise.

Finally, the teacher should cut up some speaking cards which are found in the teacher’s version of the worksheet along with some instructions on how to set up. The students will take the opportunity to have some mini debates in English using the phrases and vocabulary they just learned. If you feel some of the topics are inappropriate for your class, feel free to take them out!
