Weird Traditions around the World
This is a B1-B2 worksheet on the topic of odd traditions. Students will discuss traditions in general, read about strange British traditions, play a guessing game about traditions around the world, and finally watch a short video about wedding customs. There is an optional homework task at the end in which students must find two real traditions and make up their own weird tradition, and then see if the class can guess which is made up (like two truths and a lie but with traditions). This worksheet will work well with any intermediate class looking to have a fun and light-hearted lesson.
