Storytelling Adverbs and Phrases

This lesson looks at some common phrases and adverbs, and uses storytelling to help the students understand and practice the vocabulary. The lesson starts with a gap fill exercise, and the asks the students to read through 2 stories and place the phrases in appropriate places in the stories. Next the students will tell stories of their own, using the target vocabulary to add  some flavour. There is an optional task/homework exercise at the end which asks the students to watch one of two videos (neither video has any dialogue) and then describe the story of the video to their partner.
