Presentations
This is a B2-C1 worksheet about presentations which contains 2 different listening exercises and gives the students plenty of opportunities to practice presentations.
Students will start by reading through a list of “do’s and don’ts” for presentations saying which they think are good and bad ideas. Next, they will listen to an audio file of a presentation that goes particularly badly and answer questions about it.
After this students will read and categorize a list of useful phrases for presentations, and then watch an entertaining Ted Talk about presentations.
Finally, students will read through a list of different types of presentations and make one of their own.
This lesson is perfect for students who need to practice their presentation skills. The lesson will introduce multiple useful presentation phrases, and give the students a framework around which they can build their own presentation.
