Life or Death Choices

This is a fun and engaging conversation based lesson for b2-c2 level students about hypothetical life or death choices.

The worksheet starts with some warm up questions about decisions in general, after which they will learn some useful vocabulary for decision-making (“on the fence”, “on the other hand” etc).  The class will then be introduced to a series of dangerous hypothetical situations. In each situation the students must discuss and choose one of three possible courses of action. At the end of the worksheet the students will read which was the best course of action in each situation. The student or team who “survived” the most situations wins!

This is a great lesson for a talkative high level class looking for a bit of fun, if you’ve had a class that has a had a few lessons in a row with dry or difficult subjects, this is a great worksheet to give them a break.
