This PDF worksheet looks at some intermediate modal verbs such as “might”, “able to”, “manage to”, “supposed to”, and “had better.” The worksheet can be used as one complete worksheet, or if there is any single modal verb you want to concentrate on, you can just use the pages relevant to that. This worksheet will help to bring another level to your student’s English, and points out some of the more subtle differences between modal verbs. It also demonstrates how these modal verbs are used naturally in some text conversations between friends about a camping trip.
