This worksheet takes a look at the use of present perfect vs. past simple, particularly in the context of Have you ever? To start, the students will get an understanding of form and use. Next, the students will read a dialogue that uses both tenses. They will then be able to test their understanding through a selection exercise. The final exercise is a controlled speaking exercise. In a group or with a partner, students will pick “Have you ever” question cards from the last 2 pages of the PDF and ask them to their partner.
