Describing Feelings
This is an beginner (A0-A1) level PDF worksheet about describing feelings. It contains speaking, writing, and listening elements. Students will learn basic feeling adjectives such as sick, angry, hot, hungry, and scared. Students will also practice conjugating the verb to be (am, is, are) and will practice making basic contractions with the verb to be (I’m, he’s, we’re, etc). Students will ask each other some basic questions using these adjectives, and complete a series of matching and gap fill exercises. The final exercise is a listening exercise in which a man discusses his day. This exercise uses a lot of the vocabulary from the worksheet, and will be a good way to review and consolidate the new vocabulary.
This worksheet will work well with any very low-level class looking to learn or consolidate some very useful vocabulary. It gives students plenty of opportunity to review the vocabulary they have learned, and may also work well to build the confidence of an A1 class.
The transcript for the audio can be found at the end of the Teacher’s Version (TV).
