This is a C1 level PDF worksheet about arguments and debates. Students will discuss arguments and conflict in general, discuss different behaviors some people exhibit in arguments, read about some “dirty tactics” that are used in debates (cherry picking, loaded questions etc), and listen to two audio files of a couple having an argument and making up. The final exercise is a  series of questions which students can discuss and practice arguing over. This worksheet also has a strong emphasis on phrases and idioms. It will work with any high-level class that likes to chat and is looking to  expand their vocabulary.
