This worksheet is aimed at business English students that need to deliver pitches at work. The lesson main focus of the lesson is on pitches. Students will discuss the different types of pitches, for example, investment pitches, sales pitches, etc. Additionally, they will share advice on the best and worst ways to deliver these pitches. This lesson offers plenty of speaking opportunities about what they do and their own companies.
Finally, the lesson ends with a video clip of an investment pitch. Beware, this video is 15 minutes long and although the video is watched in parts, the students may prefer to watch it as homework. Think about what’s best for your class.
