Pronouns, Possessive Adjectives, and Objective Pronouns

Pronouns, Possessive Adjectives, and Objective Pronouns

Pronouns, Possessive Adjectives, and Objective Pronouns

This is a beginner (A0) level worksheet about pronouns, possessive adjectives, and objective pronouns. This worksheet will work well with any beginner level class which needs to learn “he” vs “him”, “they” vs “them” etc.

Students will start with the basics in an exercise in which they must choose the correct pronoun in certain sentences. After that they will read some sentences and replace names with pronouns.

Next, students will learn about possessive adjectives (eg. my, your, their, etc.) and then create their own sentences with possessive adjective. After this students will complete a basic story about a family holiday by inserting the correct possessive adjective.

Finally, students will learn about objective pronouns (him, her, them, etc), and then read some basic sentences and select the objective pronoun in the sentence. In the final exercise the students must read a short story about a morning routine and find 7 mistakes in the story.
