Present Perfect vs Past Simple

This free B1-B2 worksheet looks at the difference between present perfect and past simple. Students will read and listen to a story about a man who has some difficulties at an airport, formulate sentences and questions in both past simple and present perfect, and read conversations in which they must choose between the two. This worksheet can be used as an introduction to present perfect, but some knowledge of past simple is assumed.

The audio transcript can be found at the end of the Teacher’s Version (T.V).
