Jack and Alba: Pub Quiz at the Red Lion Pub
This is the tenth part of a series of worksheets at an A1+ level. The series follows Jack and Alba, a couple who meet on an online dating app. The students are taken through real-life scenarios gradually learning different grammar points and vocabulary.
Teachers can save time by using the series as a course plan and following it in order. However, the worksheets also work individually so you can start at any point.
In this worksheet, Alba takes her flatmate Anna to London to meet Jack for the first time. Students will be introduced to the modal verb can, practice big numbers, and repeat question words. Finishing off the class with a pub quiz!
