“I used to” vs “I am used to”

“I used to” vs “I am used to”

This worksheet looks at the difference between two common but often confusing structures; “used to” and “am used to.” The worksheet introduces “used to” and encourages the students to talk about the past with it. Next the students will be introduced to “am used to” and asked to talk about what they are accustomed to, or what is normal for them. Finally the students will have to read a text in which they must choose between the two forms to demonstrate an understanding of the different meanings.
