This is a B2-C2 video-based lesson about how we can better design our world by taking design elements from nature. Students will read about “biomimicry” (copying nature for better designs), guess which animals influenced which products, and then read about some famous examples of biomimicry, explaining what they read to their partner. The class will then watch a video about how we can design our world better of we look at nature. This class will work well with any B2-C2 class that likes to talk and learn about new things, but will be of particular use to any class that works in design or engineering.
