Environmentalism and Business

This is a B2-C1 level worksheet about environmentalism and business. Students will discuss environmentalism, read about an environmental scandal with Volkswagen, and look at how we use certain adverbs in speech. Then students will read examples of good and bad behavior in regards to the environment by various large companies, and practice expressing what they read to their partner in their own words. Finally students will watch a video about Fjällräven, a Swedish clothing company with a very good track record for producing green products. There is also an optional homework section in which students choose a clothing company and research it using www.goodonyou.eco, a website which analyzes and reviews companies ethical and environmental behavior. Students will report back and make a presentation about what they found.
