Weather and Seasons

This is a beginner level PDF worksheet about weather and seasons. It contains reading, speaking, and listening elements. Students will match common weather types to their names, and then complete sentences about seasons around the world by looking at photos and using basic weather vocabulary (sunny, stormy, etc.) to complete them.

Next, students will discuss which seasons fall in which months in their country (which will also be useful for learning the months). They will then ask and answer a series of conversation questions about weather and seasons with a partner.

After that students will read more in depth descriptions of seasons, and choose which season is being discussed. Then they will listen to a man talking about the seasons and weather in Australia and answer some questions about the audio.

This worksheet will be perfect for beginner level students, and contains some vital basic vocabulary.

The audio transcript for the audio can be found at the end of the Teacher’s Version (TV).
